Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil
This was a pretty cool non-fiction book to read! Published in 1994, John Berendt writes a true story about a murder mystery in Savannah, Georgia. I have always loved Savannah, so this book was going to be enjoyable to me anyway based on the setting. The iconic book cover is a statue of a young girl holding a shallow bowl in each hand, in theory to put bird seed in each bowl. The statue is called "Bird Girl" and stood in the Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah. Due to popularity

The Crucible
I didn't have to read The Crucible in high school like so many, and in my small southern town it seemed most adults had strong opinions on this book anyway. The Crucible is a play written in 1953 by Arthur Miller. It recounts the events of The Salem Witch Trials in the 1690s. Piranesi - The First Book Stamp
The first book stamp I made was for the book Piransei by Susanna Clarke. The setting of the book and the imagery of the world the author created really overtook me. This is a sort of "soft fantasty" book. The main setting is an other wordly house with infinite hallways and rooms. The house is adorned with marble sculptures and contains an ocean that can rise and lower at different times of the day, I have a certain affinity for sculptures. Mostly artistic ones you would find

The Heck is a "Book Stamp?"
“Just because you give something a catchy name doesn’t mean your audience knows what you are talking about. “ -Me speaking to myself after multiple people ask what the heck a “Book Stamp” is. TLDR: A book stamp is a stamp I make based off of a book I have read. It is one image to capture a main aspect of the book. They are a little too simplistic to be alternate cover art, but same idea there. Example: The book stamp for “The Hobbit” is the hobbit hole where Bilbo Baggins l
